HIGHLIGHT

|
Weather
in the world's highest mountain range is rather
unpredictable. Spring is high season for trekking,
but warmer weather can mean view-obscuring clouds;
fall and winter trekkers enjoy better photo
ops while braving chillier temperatures. Most
Base Camp bound itineraries are the same. All
you have to do is put one foot in front of the
other and soak up the scenery. But of course,
before taking up on this high-altitude adventure,
have to be sure that you're physically prepared;
the last thing you want on your epic journey
toward Everest is a trek-ending with a spell
of Acute Mountain Sickness, or even worse. |

|
There are stunningly beautiful
treks in the environs of each of these peaks, and
among them, those around Mt. Everest are particularly
well known. The most amazing and fascinating are the
trek to the Everest base camp; which can be reached
from on the both sides of the Everest; Nepal and Tibet. |

Everest
- mount,
peak, 29,035 ft (8,856 m) high, on the border of Tibet
and Nepal, in the central Himalayas. It is the highest
elevation in the world. Most Nepali people refer to
the mountain as Sagarmatha, meaning "Forehead
in the Sky." Speakers
of Tibetan languages, including the Sherpa people
of northern Nepal, refer to the mountain as Chomo-Lungma
"Mother Goddess of the Land". It is named
in English for the surveyor Sir George Everest.
